Today for staff Professional Development we hosted @JeffKoziatek, founder of Core Authenticity. He spoke to our staff about mindset and the "Champion Within." His message hit home with our staff as he talked through using six keys to working through challenges. In honor of Veterans Day, South Elementary 1st graders conducted interviews to learn more about veterans and the important role they play in our country. The students were so excited to interview family friends, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and even parents that served in the military. Students were given the opportunity to share their stories with classmates and reflect upon their interviews. It was a great learning experience for our students. In addition to interviews, the first graders created artwork to honor veterans. #WildcatExcellence #Honor #Service #Gratitude
