🎉 Congratulations to one of our very own WHS students, Isaac Henderson, and the entire 53rd class of the Missouri Cadet Patrol Academy! 🚨👮🏻♂️👏🏼
Thanks to the support of our local American Legion, Isaac joined other 16-18-year-olds for a week-long academy that offered a first-hand look at what it takes to serve with the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Throughout the week, students trained in marching, discipline, road safety, firearms safety, combat skills, and leadership — all while taking on challenging physical activities both in the gym and in the water.
The Missouri Cadet Patrol Academy is designed to inspire young adults who are considering careers in law enforcement — and with Isaac’s goal of joining the Missouri State Highway Patrol in the near future, this experience has brought him one step closer to achieving his dream. 🚔💼

🇺🇸Learning respect, tradition, and teamwork! 🇺🇸
Our 1st grade summer school students have been spending time in the library learning how to properly fold the American flag. Such an important lesson in honor, care, and pride! 👏

Has your student come home talking about "the mustache baby"?! 🥸😆
After reading Mustache Baby in the library, summer school students got into character with their very own mustaches and badges — just like Billy from the book! 🖤👮♂️👶

Kindergarten has been busy during summer school learning letters, exploring shapes, and getting creative with crafts! 🔢🎨🔠

A huge THANK YOU to Boonslick Regional Library for encouraging a love of reading in our students! 💚✨📚
Today, they visited our elementary summer school students and gifted each one a FREE book to take home and enjoy! 🌞📖

Currently our phones are down at North School. We are working to resolve the issue. If you need to communicate to the school, then please use Mrs. Ward's email at rward@warsawk12.org

Ms. Burnham’s 2nd grade summer school class had a hands-on week of learning with "dirt and worms" snacks and fossil-making fun. A perfect mix of creativity, science, and sweet treats to keep curious minds engaged! 🍫🪱🦴

🌧️ It’s raining, it’s pouring… but the fun’s still roaring! Mrs. Richardsons 3rd grade summer school class made the most of indoor recess earlier this week with games, legos & crafts. Who needs sunshine when you’ve got creativity? 🤩

🐾🇺🇸Our Wildcat student-athletes proudly carried the American flag during the annual Jubilee Days Parade.

📚🥎 Champions on and off the field! 🥎📚
Our state champion softball girls stopped by summer school to read to our elementary Wildcats earlier this week.
These young women aren’t just incredible athletes — they’re true leaders, showing what it means to give back to the community that helped shape them into who they are today. These young Wildcats are awfully lucky to have such amazing role models to look up to. 🌟
Thank you, champs, for setting the standard in sportsmanship, kindness, and leadership. 💪🐾

☀️💦 2nd Grade Pool Fun! 💦☀️
Our 2nd graders had a blast at the pool earlier this week! Despite the rainy weather, we managed to sneak in some sunshine and smiles between the showers. 😀

🎉 Congratulations to Mrs. Winters – our 3rd Annual STEM Teacher of the Year! Sponsored by Angler’s Port Marine
With support from the Toshiba America Foundation, Mrs. Winters secured a $4,700 grant to purchase PocketLab Sensors for her classroom. 👩🔬⚙️
Her students used the sensors to collect real-time data on acceleration, calculate maximum velocity, and continually improve the performance of their mousetrap racers. 🐭🚗 This hands-on project allowed students to apply physics principles while engaging in critical thinking and advanced problem-solving with cutting-edge technology.
Way to go, Mrs. Winters, and thank you for inspiring innovation in the classroom! 💡👏

What a great morning for Warsaw High School Athletics to give back to the incredible community that gives us so much! 🐾👏🏼
Although the weather kept us from reaching all of our planned locations, we were still able to lend a hand to several local businesses and support our school district.
It’s always a great day to be a Wildcat! 🖤💚🤍
