JBMS Art students have been busy creating some beautiful masterpieces! 🦃6th grade - turkeys filled with words they are thankful for ☕7th grade - wire self-portraits & clay mugs 🏚️8th grade -origami octahedrons & clay gingerbread houses #WildcatExcellence

JBMS students in Mrs. Long’s class have been learning about ratios and proportional relationships. To finish the unit, they had fun making slime! They started by making a normal size batch, followed by halving the recipe to practice what they learned. #WildcatExcellence

Last night our CSIP team met to discuss our goals, feedback from surveys, celebrate our success, and make changes to our SMART goals and action steps. It was a great night of collaboration! Big cheers to North Elementary! Together, they collected a total of 1,072 pounds of food and $230 in donations for The Benton County Food Pantry last week. Last week, South Elementary 1st Graders celebrated World Kindness Day with a kindness-focused ELA Unit using the text "Ordinary Mary's Extraordinary Deed." Students took part in several kindness challenges, including making thank you notes for community helpers, posting kind words of affirmation around the school, sending cards to Mr. Warstadt, writing positive messages on the sidewalk in front of the school, and much more! Students were able to apply their ELA and writing skills to put kindness into action, and learned the value of paying it forward. #WildcatExcellence #WorldKindnessDay
