❇️ Meet Mrs. Lawrence! ❇️ We’re excited to welcome Kylee Lawrence back to Warsaw Schools! She’ll be serving in Social Services across the district, bringing a deep passion for student support and community care. 💚 Mrs. Lawrence is currently finishing her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science at UCM and holds an associate degree from SFCC. She and her husband have been married for three years and share their home with two adorable pups, Kevin and Winston. 🐶 A proud Warsaw alum, Mrs. Lawrence is thrilled for this “full-circle moment” as she returns to give back to the community that helped shape her. She enjoys hunting, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and relaxing with a good movie. 📣🎬 We’re so glad to have her on board and can’t wait to see the impact she’ll make—welcome home, Mrs. Lawrence! 💚🐾

❇️ Meet Mrs. Laramie! ❇️ We’re excited to welcome Brandi Laramie as the new Algebra I teacher at Warsaw High School! A WHS graduate and Warsaw native, Mrs. Laramie returns home with 13 years of teaching experience and a deep passion for both math and student success. After proudly serving in the U.S. Navy, she earned her degree from the University of Idaho and has since focused on building a positive, encouraging classroom where all students can thrive. 🧮🇺🇸 Outside the classroom, Mrs. Laramie enjoys spending time with family, her two dogs—Loki and Phoebe—gardening, reading, and exploring the beautiful trails around the area. 🐶🌿📚 We’re thrilled to have her back in Warsaw—welcome home, Mrs. Laramie! 💚

❇️ Meet Mr. Willis! ❇️ We’re excited to introduce Timothy Willis as the newest member of the English Department at Warsaw High School! A proud business owner, academic scholar, and community leader, Mr. Willis brings a wealth of experience to the classroom and a strong passion for education, research, and service. He holds a PhD in Psychology, with a focus on health disparities and mental health care access for adjudicated youth. His background includes work in education, research, the U.S. Navy Reserve, law enforcement, and ministry. 📚🇺🇲 Mr. Willis is dedicated to helping students grow as readers, writers, and thinkers—and is committed to making a difference both inside and outside the classroom. His long-term goal? To retire as a proud English teacher in the Warsaw School District! Welcome to the Wildcat family, Mr. Willis! 💚🐾

❇️ Meet Ms.Gerken! ❇️ Please help us welcome Delaney Gerken to Warsaw Schools! Miss Gerken, who goes by Miss G, will be joining the North Elementary team as a special education teacher and is also stepping in as an assistant high school volleyball coach. 🚸🏐 She brings experience as a paraprofessional, after-school program leader, and 6th grade teacher. She’s excited to teach in Warsaw, where she has strong family roots and a passion for helping students succeed. Miss G loves Friends, Golden Girls, her three pups (Buck, Kash, and Blu), and spending time with loved ones. She and her fiancé, Levi, are getting married this October! 🐶💍 Welcome to the Wildcat family, Miss G! 💚🐾

During the next couple of weeks, expect some changes to traffic flow at the high school entry area. There will be a change from using the lower driveway to using the straight drive through that goes towards the bus barn. The straight drive through will not be asphalted yet, but when they begin asphalting there could be some delays. Their goal is to start the asphalt during the week of 8/4, which will be our athletic dead week.  
Once again, thank you for your flexibility as we work through these changes.

🎉 Congratulations to one of our very own WHS students, Isaac Henderson, and the entire 53rd class of the Missouri Cadet Patrol Academy! 🚨👮🏻‍♂️👏🏼 Thanks to the support of our local American Legion, Isaac joined other 16-18-year-olds for a week-long academy that offered a first-hand look at what it takes to serve with the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Throughout the week, students trained in marching, discipline, road safety, firearms safety, combat skills, and leadership — all while taking on challenging physical activities both in the gym and in the water. The Missouri Cadet Patrol Academy is designed to inspire young adults who are considering careers in law enforcement — and with Isaac’s goal of joining the Missouri State Highway Patrol in the near future, this experience has brought him one step closer to achieving his dream. 🚔💼 #WildcatExcellence #Service #MSHP

🎉 Congratulations to Mrs. Winters – our 3rd Annual STEM Teacher of the Year! Sponsored by Angler’s Port Marine With support from the Toshiba America Foundation, Mrs. Winters secured a $4,700 grant to purchase PocketLab Sensors for her classroom. 👩‍🔬⚙️ Her students used the sensors to collect real-time data on acceleration, calculate maximum velocity, and continually improve the performance of their mousetrap racers. 🐭🚗 This hands-on project allowed students to apply physics principles while engaging in critical thinking and advanced problem-solving with cutting-edge technology.
