The South School Firsties have been working hard on studying the importance of plants and trees as well as the plant life cycle in celebration of Earth Day for the past few weeks! For two weeks, our students cared for grass plants, and when they grew nice and tall, they were able to give them cool new haircuts and hairstyles before taking them home! The first graders were very proud of their creatures and learned a lot in the process of caring for them!

The first graders from South Elementary had a great adventure today. Painting & projects at Creative Palletee, visiting the harbor, hiking trails, playing at the playground, picnic lunch, and ICE CREAM.
They had a blast, and it was a beautiful day!

The unofficial results indicate that Prop KIDS has passed! Totaling Henry and Benton County numbers, we have 511 “yes” votes and 215 “no” votes, which gives us a 70.4% in favor.
With passage of these issues, we will start working on full details of each project with contractors. We will work to share progress on our projects.
Thank you again! It is a great day to be a Wildcat!
