CSIP committee last night, 12/6, to continue work on our long term plan. They went over surveys, other data, reviewed our action steps, and make recommendations to improve. #WildcatPride

JBMS Student Council hosts "2023 Neon Dance"!
Dance Information:
When: Tuesday, November 21st, 2023
Time: 1:00pm to 3:00pm (during school hours)
6th grade bring cookies
7th grade bring chips
8th grade bring drinks

Mrs. Winters' 7th grade students have been exploring the power of natural hazards. They engineered solutions, built prototypes powered by hydraulic systems, and learned how to use a CAD program to send their ideas for 3D printing.
Mrs. Winters' 8th grade students had their first dissection this week following a unit on organ systems.
Middle school students are getting in the festive spirit by filling up their thankfulness jars with things they are thankful for.
JBMS Families: We were notified today of bed bugs in the JBMS music room. We have closed down that room and have called our pest control company to treat the area.
Mrs. Cobb's 7th grade reading class are researching authors for their first book report of the year!
Mrs. Winters' 8th graders built respiratory models while learning about body systems and how smoking/vaping affect those systems.
MS Students created their own classroom pumpkin patch with mini decorated pumpkins!
Next week, 10/31-11/3, WHS and JBMS will be Red Ribbon Week!!
Red Ribbon Week is the oldest and largest drug use prevention campaign in the nation.

The Scholastic Book Fair has arrived at HS/JBMS library!
Book Fair will be open Monday during Parent/Teacher Conferences 1:00-7:00
Students will be able to shop the rest of the week from 8:00-3:31.

1st quarter grade cards were sent home today, Oct. 20th, with your students. Reminder that parent/teacher conferences will be Monday, Oct 23rd from 1pm to 7pm.
Mrs. Simons 8th graders are solving one step equations while scooting around the room. Students had to solve the one step equations and the answers told them what to draw on their monsters.
