Red Ribbon Week

Next week we will be having Red Ribbon Week at South Elementary. Red Ribbon Week is a week when we encourage students to make safe and healthy choices in their lives. We encourage students to say no and stand up against things that can harm themselves and their community. We will be having a Spirit Week of theme days in order to make it a fun and memorable week for kids. The theme days are as follows:

Tuesday: Pajama or Sweat Pants Day

Wednesday: Wear Red

Thursday: Hat Day

Friday: Wear Wildcat Colors

Along with the theme days, we will also be having drawings for students who complete a coloring page and/or a word search related to Red Ribbon Week. Those can be picked up by students on a table outside of the elementary office. These activities are not required.

We hope the kids have fun during the week, but we also want them to hear the message that they can make a difference by making good choices.
