Student Spotlight

Student Spotlight: Brookelynn White

Brookelyn White was our Student Spotlight during the January Board of Education Meeting.  Brookelynn is a 5th grader at Warsaw South Elementary, and is the daughter of Michelle and Barry White.

Brookelyn is very deserving of this great honor. When our South School staff discussed who to nominate, Brookelynn’s name was mentioned repeatedly. Here are some things teachers said about her when nominating her:

“Brookelynn is always a great listener, a friend to all, and gives effort over and above in all areas. She is an ideal person and very creative. I enjoy her sense of humor and her pleasant, helpful character is a model to all.”

“Brookelynn is a shining example of kindness, dedication, and grit. She works so hard to challenge herself daily in 5th grade. She has genuine curiosity with a desire to absorb and learn all she can.”

During our recent November and December accelerated reader challenge Brookelynn read the most words of all the students in the whole school at just under 308 thousand, in just over 5 weeks.

In addition to her excellent academics, Brookelynn is also a leader and active member  of the Warsaw Children's Chorus.

Ms. Brookelynn White is a living example of what makes South Elementary and the Warsaw R-IX School District a place for excellence.

We are so proud of Miss Brookelynn White for representing #WildcatPride in everything she does.

The Warsaw R-IX School District is very honored to have you as one of our students!
