Good Morning North Families! Now that the weather is getting cold we wanted to send a few reminders! Our front doors do not open until 7:30am when our staff contract hours begin. Please do not send your students to sit in the cold before 7:30am. We have had lots of students arriving in shorts and short sleeves. If you are in need of pants, winter coats, gloves, hats, etc. please contact our front office. 660-438-6260

North Elementary 2nd grade students enjoyed a Thanksgiving STEAM day last week. They enjoyed making pumpkin pie, tables to hold a turkey, turkeys, and bow and arrows. #WildcatExcellence

North Elementary 4th grade students that increased their monthly Evaluate scores in both content areas were treated to a slush from their teachers for their hard work. Thank you to Dustin & his crew at Sonic of Warsaw for always supporting our students and their academic achievements! #WildcatExcellence

Last night our CSIP team met to discuss our goals, feedback from surveys, celebrate our success, and make changes to our SMART goals and action steps. It was a great night of collaboration! Thank you to the committee members for all of their work! Thank you to everyone that took surveys as well! More information will be shared about the surveys and CSIP in the near future. #WildcatExcellence

Big cheers to North Elementary! Together, they collected a total of 1,072 pounds of food and $230 in donations for The Benton County Food Pantry last week. North Elementary: Parents & Guardians- please remember that per our handbook, ALL transportation changes are due to the front office secretaries by 2:00pm. We will no longer be honoring changes made after 2:00pm for organizational purposes and the safety of all children. Thank you for your understanding.

We are celebrating academic growth in our district! 🎉 According to the Evaluate Assessment that is taken monthly to track students’ understanding of the Missouri Learning Standards, we have seen successful growth in the month of November: ✅12% Growth in Mathematics (this includes significant growth in multiple grade levels taking the assessment!) ✅6% English/Language Arts (this includes growth seen in EVERY grade level taking the assessment!) Assistant Superintendent, Mrs. Shannon Deckard, shares, “Big changes start small. We are proud of our students and staff for their dedication to learning. Please help us celebrate their accomplishments! And thank you to our Wildcat families for supporting our students at home.” #WildcatExcellence

Non-perishable food items or monetary donations can be made at the school through Friday, 11/15. 🎉Each grade level will have a friendly competition to see who can bring in the most pounds of food! 🎉Did you know?
