The Benton County Food Pantry has been selected as the Wildcat Pride Award for December 2025. This award is given to an individual and/or group that has shown dedication to the Warsaw R-IX School District through involvement in activities, contributions to the programs, and a positive impact made towards our students and staff. The Benton County Food Pantry has taken great pride in the Warsaw R-IX School District and also the Warsaw community.
The Benton County Food Pantry has made a tremendous impact on our school district and families throughout Benton County. For many years, our district has worked closely with Jeannie and the staff at the food pantry, who are always willing to support our schools and help provide for families in need. From food items to hygiene care products, the pantry has consistently supplied essential resources for our students and families. In the past, they provided all student snacks during MAP testing, and they continue to support our Buddy Pack program by allowing food deliveries to their location for easy pickup. Our elementary schools also partner with the food pantry through an annual food drive, giving back to our community. The pantry saves and delivers the purple barrels to our schools and collects all donated items each year, making this partnership both meaningful and impactful.
Thank you to the Benton County Food Pantry for your time and dedication to the Warsaw R-IX School District. Keep up the great work!
