Julie Gemes has been selected as the Certified Staff Member of the Month for December 2025. She was nominated by multiple individuals and selected by the administrative team.

She consistently goes above and beyond to make sure her students have the resources they need to bring fun, creative projects to life. She also makes sure their talents are recognized by capturing photos and sharing them with the district communications director so their hard work can shine. Her thoughtful planning and attention to detail do not go unnoticed!”
“Julie is always looking for new ways to bring art into the students' worlds. She has not only helped me become a better teacher, but she genuinely cares; and that goes a long way with me. She has stopped at nothing to make sure these kiddos get the art education they deserve.”
