As we begin the new school year, please review the following reminders to help keep our students safe during drop-off and pick-up times.
North Elementary
Drop-Off & Pick-Up: The car rider line begins at 7:35 AM and 3:20 PM. The line begins from Oak Street → Stage Coach → Kosciusko. Please remain in your vehicle to keep the line moving.
Staff assistance: Staff are stationed at cones to help students exit and enter cars safely.
For safety, parents are not permitted to walk students into classrooms in the morning or during dismissal — including the first day of school.
Unattended drop-off: Students dropped off before 7:35 AM are unattended.
School hours: 7:50 AM – 3:27 PM. Students are tardy after 7:55 AM.
Transportation changes: Must be communicated to the office before 2:00 PM. No changes will be accepted after 2:00 PM for student safety.
South Elementary
Drop-Off & Pick-Up: The car rider line begins at 7:38 AM & 3:28 PM. Please enter the second gravel entrance from PP Highway & remain in your vehicle to keep the line moving.
Staff assistance: Staff are stationed outside to help students exit and enter cars safely.
For safety, parents are not permitted to walk students into classrooms in the morning or during dismissal — including the first day of school.
School hours: 7:50 AM – 3:27 PM. Students are tardy after 7:55 AM.
Transportation changes: Must be communicated to the office before 2:00 PM. No changes will be accepted after 2:00 PM for student safety.
JBMS & WHS
Supervision begins at 7:30 AM. Students dropped off before 7:30 will be unattended, so please plan accordingly.
Drive carefully. We kindly ask all parents, guardians, and community members to slow down as you enter the school entrances and parking lots.
Follow all directions. Please pay attention to the below instructions, follow the guidance of our administrative personnel, and be mindful of other drivers.
Car rider pick-up line begins at approximately 3:36 PM, after buses have departed. Please avoid lining up too early in the afternoons—buses need space to pick up students before the car rider line begins.
