Pandemic EBT

Updated 12/9/22:

The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) program is now available for the 21-22 school year. The eligibility criteria is much different than previously administered P-EBT benefits. You can learn more about this benefit by reading this letter to families from DESE.

Student eligibility for 2021-22 P-EBT benefits is based on students’ free or reduced-price meal eligibility AND COVID-related absences.  Because Warsaw R-IX is a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) school district, this benefit is available for all students who were in grades K - 12 in the 21-22 school year.

Districts are required to contact parents to inquire if consecutive school days missed were due to a COVID-related absence.  Please complete this form prior to 12/21/2022 for every student in your household who missed even one day due to COVID or COVID quarantine or even for COVID testing. You may refer to the parent portal to review past attendance information for your student(s).

Please note that P-EBT benefits will be sent to the address we have on file, but they will come from the state and NOT from Warsaw R-IX. Our obligation is to provide information to the state, and the state will send the P-EBT cards.
