LEADERSHIP UPDATE

The Warsaw R-IX School District is pleased to announce administrative leadership updates at South Elementary School and John Boise Middle School for the 2026–27 school year.

Stephanie Ledbetter Named Principal of South Elementary

LEDBETTER

Stephanie Ledbetter has been named the new principal of South Elementary School. She will replace current principal Mr. Warstadt, who is leaving the district to accept the position of Superintendent at Kirbyville R-6 School District.

A proud Warsaw graduate, Ledbetter brings 18 years of experience in education, including 16 years serving students and families within the Warsaw R-IX School District. Throughout her career, she has held several roles within the Special Education department, most recently serving as Elementary Process Coordinator.

“As a Warsaw graduate, I am proud to be raising my two boys as Wildcats,” Ledbetter shared. “Our family schedule is full of ball games, farm life, and showing livestock. In my new position as South School Principal, I am most excited to build relationships with students, staff, families, and the community. I want to continue to foster a school environment where every child feels safe, supported, and excited to learn.”

“We thank Mr. Warstadt for his dedicated leadership and the positive impact he has had on South Elementary,” said Superintendent Mr. Gemes. “We are confident that Mrs. Ledbetter, with her extensive experience in the district and passion for supporting students, staff, and families, will provide a smooth transition and continue building on the school’s success.”

Megan Daleske Named Assistant Principal at John Boise Middle School

DALESKE

The district is excited to announce the addition of a new administrative position at John Boise Middle School, with Megan Daleske selected to serve as the school’s Assistant Principal.

Daleske brings 10 years of experience in education, including seven years at John Boise Middle School. Her teaching background includes 3rd grade, secondary math, and Title I reading and math intervention. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Park University, where she also played softball for four years, and her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from William Woods University.

“JBMS has exciting new changes coming for the 2026–27 school year, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families in the community to support a smooth transition,” Daleske said.

“The addition of an Assistant Principal at JBMS will be a tremendous support for our students and staff,” said JBMS Principal Mr. Wright. “With the upcoming opening of the new 5th-grade wing and the increasing needs of our middle school as a whole, Mrs. Daleske’s leadership will help ensure that every student receives the guidance and support they need to succeed.”

The Warsaw R-IX School District looks forward to the leadership and dedication both administrators will bring to their new roles. Guided by our mission to engage, empower, and collaborate to ensure every student has success every day, and our vision to continue a tradition of excellence, we are confident they will inspire and positively impact students, staff, and the community.
