Amanda Adler has been selected as the Certified Staff Member of the Month for January 2026. She was nominated by multiple individuals and selected by the administrative team.

“Mrs. Adler is an outstanding teacher who works very hard to produce an amazing school newspaper and yearbook. The Wildcat, the school newspaper, was honored as Best of Show at the University of Missouri Journalism Day in 2025. This honor means that the WHS newspaper was the best in the state of Missouri. Her yearbooks have also been honored and recognized. Mrs. Adler is very dedicated to her students and her profession.”
“Her publications The Wildcat and Ozark Echoes yearbook are exceptional. They both have won numerous state awards and last year The Wildcat was ranked Best in the State. Her students often go on to major in journalism in college and are successful reporters in their field. She is also the mother of four children under the age of 11 and puts in lots of hours to be successful.”
“She is an incredible teacher, coworker, and mentor. She consistently supports her students and fellow teachers despite being swamped with several different English curricula, journalism, and newspaper, all of which require copious after hours work. Despite juggling all of her responsibilities, she is always a positive, warm presence in the High School English/Math hallway. She deserves to be recognized for her hard work and dedication.”
