The Warsaw R-IX School District encourages qualified persons interested in running for a position on the school board to file to be a candidate in the April 7, 2026, election. Interested persons may file at the superintendent's office located at 20363 Lane of Champions, Warsaw, MO 65355. For more information contact Mr. Scott Gemes, Superintendent, at 660-438-7120.
Filing will begin on December 9, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. and will continue during the district's regular business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Filing will not occur on days that the school district's central offices are closed due to inclement weather, except for the first and last day of filing. Filing will also not occur on the following holidays and breaks when the school district's central offices are closed: December 22-29, 2025. Filing will end on December 30th, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
On December 30th, the district’s central office will be open from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
There are three positions available with three-year terms.
