Congratulations to the High School for being awarded the title of Cleanest School in the District for the 1st quarter of the 2025–2026 school year!
A special thank you goes out to the High School custodial team — Steve Johnson, Luanne Fliss, and Jimmie Burr — for their continued dedication and hard work in keeping the building clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff.
A walkthrough conducted by Hillyard, a third-party cleaning resource, at the end of the first quarter rated each building with the following scores:
High School: 3.09
North Elementary: 3.06
John Boise Middle School: 3.06
South Elementary: 3.03
The Hillyard representative shared, “Overall, this district is off to a great start for the 2025–26 school year. The newly renovated restrooms at North and South are very nice.”
Warsaw R-IX Director of Maintenance Tim Snider added, “The first quarter walkthrough was awesome, especially considering all of the work completed over the summer. This has been our highest scoring quarter yet, and we’re off to a great start to the school year. We have a great team of staff, and without everyone’s help, we couldn’t have made it happen. This goes to show that with everyone’s support, we can do it. Our schools continue to improve each year along with the renovations and upgrades being made. This isn’t just another place to visit — it’s our home, and we have to take care of it to make sure it stays clean and safe. We can’t do this without everyone’s help and teamwork. Great job to all school staff on an awesome start to the year!”
Cheers to another quarter of Wildcat pride and excellence in keeping our schools shining bright!
